Events Manager, Hockey Helps The Homeless

Amanda joins Hockey Helps the Homeless with over 20 years of hockey experience - lacing up the skates since she was 4 years old!

Amanda graduated from Boston University School of Management in 2009.  During her collegiate career she was a member of the inaugural Women's Ice Hockey Team and was named to the Hockey East All-Star Team during her rookie campaign. Amanda was a member of the U-22 Canadian National Women's Ice Hockey Team, winning a gold medal at that Air Canada Cup in Ravensburg, Germany.  During the off season Amanda enjoyed playing for the Canadian National Women's Inline Hockey Team, where she won a gold medal at the World Inline Hockey Championships. After her collegiate career at Boston University, Amanda signed with the ZSC Lions of the Professional Swiss Women's Hockey 'A' League and moved to Zurich, Switzerland for the 2009-2010 season. 

Prior to joining Hockey Helps the Homeless, Amanda worked at Pointstreak Sports Technologies where she was responsible for managing international clients in both hockey and baseball. Amanda is eager to apply her technology background and her hockey experience to further advance the most worthy Hockey Helps the Homeless cause.

Amanda remains active in hockey.  She is currently playing for the Burlington Barracudas in the Canadian Women's Hockey League and is an assistant coach with the Etobicoke Junior Women's Hockey Team.
