Liz Knox, CWHL

In 2010, Knox became the first Golden Hawks player in the history of the women’s program to win the CIS Player of the Year award and was also 2010 CIS First Team All-Canadian, OUA Player of the Year, and OUA First Team All-Star. Knox has been an instrumental part of Laurier’s success where she has led the Golden Hawks to numerous OUA regular season and playoff titles.

Internationally, Knox has competed at the World University games where in 2011, she helped Canada win the gold medal against Finland in a stellar 4-1 victory. With Hockey Canada, Knox has been named to Canada’s U22 National team on more than one occasion, where she went to the MLP Cup, and has attended Canada’s National Women’s Team Evaluation Camp in 2010.
