Throughout her years at RPI, Vanderbliek set records as the school’s career record holder in games played, games started, most wins, most saves, and most shutouts. She was twice named the team’s MVP of the season and was a 2010 Patty Kazmaier nominee. She won numerous ECAC weekly awards throughout her career as ECAC Goaltender of the Week and made the ECAC Championship All-Tournament team in her second year.

Vanderbliek’s solid “big game” performances saw her lead a young RPI team twice to the ECAC semi-finals, where she helped the Engineers beat Harvard in overtime after facing 42 shots in a dramatic win. Vanderbliek was consistently in the NCAA top goalies for goals against and save percentage, once being when she finished 3rd in the nation for save percentage. Overall, Vanderbliek finished her career with a 2.07 GAA and a .917 save percentage.
